How to choose your Perfumes?
Making Perfumes are expensive which is why it’s important to choose a scent you’ll love before spending your hard earned money. Here’s how to choose perfume that’ll keep you smelling sweet. The Art of Smelling Sweet: How to Choose Perfume
Pay attention to the name of the perfume, its bottle and wrapper - all this helps you to identify the character of the scent. Usually, form and contents are in harmony.
Find out the name of the designer or the perfume maker that produced this perfume. If you like other perfumes of this perfume maker, it is possible that their new scent will attract you as well. The same may happen if the style of this designer is attractive to you.
You must of course like the fragrance. Also, fragrances are not the same on everyone. Maybe you have a friend who has an amazing perfume. Once one of our staff writers was sitting in a cafe in Paris. A French woman passed by wearing the most amazing fragrance of perfume. The staff writer, of course, did not go up to this stranger and ask the name of the perfume and where it could be purchased. Nevertheless, even if that person did buy this perfume, it would not guarantee that this amazing fragrance would also be amazing and the right perfume for this other person.
Another reference to cheap perfumes is the lower quality fragrances that can be found for very affordable prices in drugstores and cosmetic stores. If you find a particular fragrance that appeals to you then by all means, buy it! Just know that the cheaper fragrances tend to wear off relatively quickly so you may need to reapply more often.
Apply a small amount of your favorite and walk around the store for fifteen minutes. This allows the perfume to adjust to your body chemistry. During this time the alcohol will evaporate making it easier to determine the true scent.
How to choose perfume for someone else
It is hard enough to choose a perfume for yourself without considering what your loved one or friends and family would like but this can be made easier if you are able to answer a couple of key questions to help you pick the right fragrance:
are they outgoing or love the indoors
how old they are and not just in age but is their nature youthful or mature
do they like sweet or savoury
extrovert or introver
