Eye Makeup for Brown Eyes- Makeup Tips for Brown eyes
Brown eyes have wonderful features, I find. I have brown eyes myself and I can do lots with my eyes. I think people with browns eyes, look better on a warmer color basis of eye shadow. You also have to think about your skin tone too. for example: a girl that is a peach color (skin tone) has blond hair and brown eyes; she would look nice with navy blue eye shadow, which on the other hand if your a darker type of skin tone you would probably do better with oriel green! If you have a medium dark skin tone with dark brown hair. I’d say try the sparkly black liquid eyeliner with light brown eye shadow. Every one is different, so be your self and show everyone your own creative look. Just one tip for you, try to look as natural as possible, the tip about make up for eyes is to make you look naturally better then you do look from when you wake up in the morning.(just saying so don’t be defended). Also try to go with lots of eyeliner at night and less in daytime.Makeup for Brown Eyes
Choosing the Right Colors
One of the best ways to ensure that brown eyes look alluring is to choose the right colors. This needn’t be difficult. To help, think of the wheel. Colors that fall on the opposite side of the color wheel sharply contrast one another, and thereby make the first color “pop” (this one of the reasons why red and green go together so nicely at Christmas time).
For brown eyes, locate brown on the color wheel and find the colors on the opposite side (namely purple and blue). These makeup colors help brown eyes stand out in the most attractive of ways.
For the most natural way to line your eyes, use a small, firm brush and apply eye shadow as your eyeliner. Make the most of your dark brown eyes, using soft pinks to really bring them out. Use brown eye mascara for day, and a black/brown mascara for evening or special occasions. Keep eyeliner to a minimum though. Just use it to softly frame your eyes. Avoid all black as it tends to be too strong. Chocolates, deep plums and charcoals smudged into your lashes will do the trick. You might like to try adding a very subtle contour in a soft mushroom color on your brow bone just above your crease and blend this softly.
My suggestion is to try cream, champagne or apricot shadow for the base, covering your whole eyelid. Follow with any shade of brown either matte or one with shimmer and apply to the crease. You can also try shades of plum. Always use brushes instead of applicators for the best results. Now line the top and bottom lashes with very dark brown pencil. Next, take a fine lining brush and using a dark brown or even deep gray, smudge the lines. Follow with blackest black mascara and don’t forget to curl those lashes first for an added pop.
Select an eye shadow that complements your brown eye color. Brown, pink, blue and gold tones look great against the rich brown of your eyes. The cool hues contrast well against warmer eye tones and will brighten the eyes to make them pop. Choose a shade lighter than your eyes for a natural, clean look or a shade darker for a sultry, dramatic feel.
Choose a dark liner in a shade that best matches your eye shadow. Navy or plum tones work well with the blue and purple shadows. A traditional, black liner will deliver a dramatic effect and really make your brown eyes shine.
One of the greatest things about having brown eyes is the fact that you can wear almost any type of make-up on them, from the lightest to the darkest, from the softest to the most dramatic, from the most shimmering to the mattest and so on and so forth… You can also wear lots of colors for your eye-shadow, yet you must know how to match a dramatic blue, for instance, to the rest of your appearance in order to look great.
Shadows- The shadow possibilities are endless with brown eyes. Deep purple is gorgeous, especially if you do the “smoky” look in which there are no defined lines of makeup, and it is all blended and smeared to give the illusion of smoke-like eyes. Tend to stay away from bright sky blue as it looks kind-of tacky and childish. Deep greens, purples, browns, and metallics can do wonders. Yes i forgot about metallics! Metallics are very very good. A little dramatic, but very ‘In’ right now. Many runway models are doing dramatic metallics on their eyes and lips, and they look really good with brown eyes.
