To have a perfect make up it is important to have a good skin. Make-up starts with great skin. So to look great on the wedding day it is important to take care of certain things before the wedding ceremony. Here’s a list of things you should consider and avoid during the pre wedding days.

Tips for Bridal Makeup

Brides must look fabulous but also natural for the most important day in their lives but remain true to themselves; otherwise they will look like a stranger in their own wedding photos… So true and something you must take in mind if you are preparing your own wedding with cherished attention in each and every detail, but you have forgotten how important emphasizing the care of your skin and the right makeup for your face can be.

Use heavy-pigmented cream foundation and layer it with powder foundation to make the skin look smoother.

Use powder foundation on neck, ears and chest too so that you don’t seem to have a painted face.

Use a concealer shade similar to the foundation and blend both well.

Choose your eye shadow carefully!

Avoid trendy colors. (Although blue is in right now, photos will look dated later.)

Avoid bright colors-they scream out of photos.

Stay away from gray; it makes skin look ashy.

Even if you are getting your makeup professionally applied, do not put aside your wedding makeup to the wedding day. Have a trial session to check out the colour scheme and overall look.

Apply two layers of waterproof mascara, having few seconds pause between, to avoid smudging Make sure you use smudge proof eye makeup. Wedding ceremonies take a longer time and you might rub the eyes accidentally. Eye shadow should compliment your skin tone and the outfit your wear. Use eyelashes for a dramatic look.

Consider hiring a professional MA bridal makeup artist that specializes in wedding make-up. They have the experience to make sure you look you best in person and in your photographs.

When choosing a lipstick, be sure to select one that lasts. (Before walking down the aisle, have a friend check for lipstick on your teeth.) Be sure you do not overline your lips with a dark lipliner.

If you’ve decided to do your own makeup, don’t run out the day before your wedding to choose your makeup. Go to a cosmetic counter about a month or two before your wedding and have the consultant try different colors to see what looks best on you. Remember, you want to feel beautiful.

Wedding Day Makeup Tips for Brides

Book a Professional

The one day in your life that you want to be pampered and taken care of is your wedding day. You are going to be under a lot of stress and dealing with a lot of last minute details. To reduce the stress that you experience on your wedding you should hire a professional makeup artist to come to you and do your makeup. This will ensure that your makeup will be perfect, and if adjustments need to be made they will be able to handle them.

Stick to the Plan

Before your wedding day you should do a trial run with your makeup. Try out several different looks to see which one you like the best. At least a week before your wedding select a makeup style that you like and have a Polaroid taken of you with the chosen makeup job. Have this photo with you on your wedding day so your make-up artist will know what to do.
