As a woman’s age advances, many changes occur due to pregnancy, childbirth and the emotionally draining and stressful menopause. These changes affect the mind, emotions as well as the body. This may come as a rude shock to a woman who has had to keep herself looking elegant and graceful in her appearance all through her life.
Stress, hormonal imbalances, poor diet in the form of junk food and aging may combine to give you one hell of time during your lifetime. But there’s no need to give up, for many weapons abound to help you in your struggles. Think of proper diet, the right exercise, natural herbs that contain properties close to oestrogen and organic food. These are some of the things to help keep your body flourishing inside out, all the time.
Aromatherapy
What am describing here is aromatherapy – scientific study of scents and smells used for healing (therapeutic) ways – that brings in many plants and herbs with excellent results in clearing the cellulite body. Three powerful herbs clear away toxins and cellulite – grapefruit, fennel and juniper. But how do you maximize on the usage of these? One great way is to use these herbs to make massage oil from the essential oils and throwing carrier oil into the mix. You have options to either massage the oil directly onto the cellulite daily for the greatest benefit or drink tea (recommended) made from these herbs. Consult an aromatherapist before making infusions or teas. Also, read the labels as well as safety instructions on essential oils before attempting to use them. Three essential oils specifically recommended for treatment of cellulite – juniper, rosemary and lavender – can both be called diuretic oils (stimulating blood and lymph flow). They also improve blood circulation in the process reducing puffiness, swellings and retention of water. The qualities of these essential oils are crucial in cellulite treatment knowing that cellulites are formed as a result of fluid getting accumulated in the fatty layer of the skin. This is a consequence of problems in microcirculation, in turn brought by hormones especially oestrogen.
The beautiful smell from lavender oil is great for stress and relaxing. It’s also beneficial for your skin – it tones, at the same time giving a revitalizing effect. These oils combined with therapeutic carrier oil may be massaged onto the skin as an alternative remedy to cellulites. It is these carrier oils that are important while using aromatherapy cellulite, for they not only have a nourishing effect of their own, but can be irritating if applied directly to the skin, especially on sensitive skin types. Massage helps in blood circulation and some types are specialized in bettering lymph flow – lymphatic drainage – characterized by very soft strokes that move in particular directions connected with the body’s circulatory system.
Carrier Oils
What are some of these aromatherapy cellulite oils? One is grape seed oil that has a mild astringent effect and good for skin toning. It can be quite nourishing as it has linoeic acid that is an essential fatty acid. These are needed for healthy cell membranes. Grape seed oil often used a base with other carrier oils when mixed, can be used in larger quantities. Rosehip, which also has essential fatty acids is generally used to counter aging on the face. It contains vitamin C in plenty that is good news for your skin health, too.
Liquid wax in the form of jojoba is much the same in structure as the oils in our skins. It has antioxidant properties and is more formula in aromatherapy cellulite. However, it is quickly absorbed, mixing excellently with carrier oils when it’s used in an anti cellulite massage. Avocado oil penetrates deep in the skin, carrying with it essential oils deeper hence making them more effective. Its softening effect makes many prefer mixing it with several other carrier oils. Trauma, high quality oil, is considered quite effective in decreasing cellulites and is known to work uniquely |
