The Benefits of Facial Cleansing

Our face accumulates all types of particles everyday. Aside from particles caused by external factors, our face also happen to receive different kinds of chemical substances brought about by different beauty regimen as well as makeup. Since our face takes up a lot different facial beatings everyday, we need to ensure that we keep it youthful and glowing despite the many different treatments it continues to receive. And one of the best ways in which we can keep it as healthy as it can possibly be is by means of cleansing.

Cleansing is one of the most important processes which our face must get everyday. This is the main reason why our face still remains ageless and spotless despite the many things we put on it. It will help your face more if you use the right products to soothe your face and cleanse it from a day’s worth of makeup. In addition, daily cleansing can also help clean up your face from the harmful bacteria, dirt, sweat, and pollution which it can accumulate everyday. These are the factors responsible for giving you acne breakouts.

Aside from these effects, cleansing also help promote proper blood circulation on our face. Thus your face can become more pinkish and glowing than before. If your face receives proper circulation as well, you can actually do without having to deal with putting some blush on. A good blood circulation on the face allows some blood to tint the apples of both your cheeks and give it a naturally occurring pinkish color. So even without the cold climate, you can achieve such rosy cheeks just by cleaning your face on a regular basis.
Before you go about cleaning your face, you should remember to start by have your hands clean. As it is your hands which will remove all the unwanted dirt from your face and rub on that cleanser on your cheeks you should make sure first that you keep them clean and free from bacteria themselves. Use a mild soap and some warm water to clean your hands before you clean your face. Using such mild formula will help your hands not to get additional chemical formulas which can harmfully blend with your choice of cleanser. You should also remember to wash your hands thoroughly by rubbing not just your palms together but also the top of it for a couple of minutes the least.

There are also different types of cleanser which you can choose from. Although every one of them are useful on their own, the main reason why they are separated as such is so tat they can cater to differing skin needs. Below are the tips which you must remember in choosing the right cleanser for your skin type.

1.    Normal Skin – A normal skin is characterized by a face without too much blemishes, except for those which may have occurred due to a current menstrual period. If you have a normal skin type you actually have a lot of options to choose from. You can use mild liquid soaps or even gel soap to cleanse yourself but since soaps have a way of drying up the skin after they are used, you can choose to pair them up with some cleansing cream. These creams are made with natural moisturizers such as coconut, avocado, macadamia, and even wheat germ.

2.    Dry Skin – If you have dry skin, chances are you usually experience having flaky and chapped scaly skin especially when the temperature gets cold. If this is your skin type, you should refrain from using hot water as you cleanse your face up to your neck. This is because hot water causes the pores to open up and thus, natural moisture quickly exits from your skin. If you would also use creams after you have cleansed your face, take note and use only those which have no detergent ingredients. Look for these natural ingredients instead: almond, jojoba oil, olive.

3.    Oily Skin – If you have oily skin, you should generally steer clear from using wax types. These products contain oil which can trigger your T-zones or the forehead and bridge of your nose which usually brightens up when it oils.
