| Hair Setters: Curls galore! |
|
Two weeks ago, I had the sudden urge to curl my hair, but I didn’t want to curl it with a curling iron, so I invested some time in looking for some hair setters.
The first hair setters that I found were a colorful bunch. The smallest were green and ¾ of an inch big and there were six of them. The next largest were a pink color and one inch big and there were eight of them. The next largest after that were blue and 1 ¼ inches big and the largest were purple and 1 ½ inches big and there were eight of them. This would enable the users to have any variety of sizes of curls, creating a versatile style that can be altered to the users benefit. These also create smooth, waving curls and have an indicator light, so that the user always knows when the device is on or off. This also has 15 clips that go over the curlers to keep them in place on the head. The housing is also double insulated so that it doesn’t need a lid but still stays warm. It also came with a styling guide that told the user exactly how to use this device.
The next set of hair setters were a rusty red color and was great for any type or length of hair, frizzy and long or straight and short. It also worked well with hair that was treated, even if it was permed, colored, or relaxed. They can even function well of fake hair, such as hair extensions, and wigs. The hair setters themselves had plastic curl covers that should be worn while the hair was wrapped and would intensify the curling ability of the setters, creating pleasant curls that would last for days and only taking a few minutes to attain. The great thing about these hair setters was that they did not use any chemicals to make curls that look like a professional perm, so they would not harm the hair! There were thirty setters total: 6 petite, 6 small, 6 medium, 6 large, and 6 jumbo sizes. There were a few warnings, such as not using this device while bathing, turning off after use, and not allowing water to get onto or into this device.
The next set of hair setters were an attractive gray color. There were twelve of them total: 6 large and 6 jumbo curlers for creating voluminous curls. They also came with twelve butterfly clips and twelve metal pins to hold the hair in place on the hair setters. These curlers were made from soft material which guaranteed that they would be gentle on the hair and comfortable to use but would still stay in well. They had a ceramic core which generated infra red heat which ensured that the hair would not be damaged as it could be with other types of heat, stopped damaging hot spots, and provided the maximum amount of heat to be transferred to create fantastic styles. These setters also heated quite quickly and were extremely light weight which would allow for a volume creating lift at the roots of the hair. The amount of time that these curlers are left on the warmer or the amount of heat that they have collected will effect how curly the hair is. For more tightly curled hair, it is best to leave the setters on the heating piece for a longer time for at least ten minutes and for looser curls, the setters should not be allowed to become as warm as for tighter curls nor should they be left in as long.
The third set of hair setters were an intriguing bunch. There were five of these black and blue rollers and then had a small, compact heating case and were about 1 ¾ inches large. They also came with five roller clips to keep the hair in shape when the setters were in it. These setters were also soft so that they cushioned hair, instead of harming it or pulling on it. They also had convenient cord storage so that they took up the least amount of room that they needed to.
So, there were adequate amounts of hair setters out there! They just needed users! |
