| A brush and a hairdryer or a brush hairdryer? |
|
So, I’d decided. I needed to slim down on my devices for my hair. First order of business: combine my brush and hairdryer.
I then dove into my research for a good brush hair dryer. It was pretty easy! I found several that I liked.
The first had three different heads to put on the dryer. One was a boar’s hair bristle brush which smoothed hair and was good for thick hair, which I surely had! The second head was a fine toothed, comb-like head, to smooth hair out further, and the last was a wide toothed attachment for detangling. So I wouldn’t have to use a brush to get all of my tangles out!
This brushing blow dryer also had what was called “ceramic technology” which attained a heat and stayed at that heat, with no fluctuations, so that the texture of my hair wouldn’t vary depending on the heat of the dryer at the time that I was using it on a particular piece of hair. That was comforting! On that note, it also had the option of three different settings of heat, so that I could pick one that suited my hair best. It wouldn’t do me any good if the setting was hotter than I needed for my hair, so that was useful. The ceramic technology also guaranteed that my hair wouldn’t be dried out, but rather moisturized by it as well. I’d always heard that blow drying my hair was bad for me, so, naturally, I was quite excited when I read this about this certain dryer!
Unfortunately, I found that I was particularly fond of the décor of this dryer. It was a fake silver color with black plastic in the end of the drying apparatus and on the buttons that rather bothered me and it seemed very blocky. I was pleased with the attributes of it, but not with its style. I kept that in mind and decided to look at the other dryer before I made any decisions.
The second one was similar to the first. It still had the three different brushes, one for styling, one for detangling hair, and one for finishing my chosen hairdo. It also had three heat and speed settings but this one had 1875 watts of drying power, which was pretty impressive in my book. It also had a cool shot for settling the style that I made as well. This meant that I wouldn’t have to worry about my hair undoing its own style, which was useful.
A very useful thing that I found about this second dryer was that it also had a cord guard and an “immersion shock protection” plug that allowed me to reset it if I needed to. I often forgot to take my hair styling tools out of the sink (they somehow always ended up there) and would turn on the water and fry them! With this plug, I wouldn’t have to worry about that so much. I could just reset it, but I’d still have to be careful not to touch it with water on my hands because it could still shock me. Another feature about it that was really great was that it had a hanging ring, so that I could hang it up on a rack of some sort. I’d have to think about getting one of those. It would make everything a lot more pristine in my bathroom, and with this hanging ring my brush hair dryer would fit right in! Great!
I’d have to say, though, that one of my reasons for liking this brush hair dryer so much was that it was attractively made! It had a sleek black look and shone, even in the picture. I was a stickler for aesthetic beauty and this would fit right into my bathroom without looking too gaudy or too underdone.
So which did I pick? Well, the second of course! Style is everything, right? But the fact that it could do everything that the first could a more certainly helped. I living happy with well-done hair, thanks to a good brush hair dryer! |
