Juicy Couture Perfume is the first perfume that was released from the Juicy Couture casual wear line. Harry Fremont, a perfumer, created this fragrance that features green apple, watermelon, pink passion fruit, mandarin, marigold, water, crushed levels, hyacinth, tuberose absolute, princess lily, wild rose, vanilla, caramel crème brulee, patchouli and precious woods. Overall, Juicy Couture Perfume begins with very sweet fruits with a heavy emphasis on watermelon.
As it begins to dry down, the sweetness of the perfume is cut but only momentarily by water hyacinth and a slight touch of green. Then it is charged up again as the white florals begin to take the stage and later it is amped up again when the vanilla and caramel come into play. For a short time, the tuberose predominates and after that it is going to smell indistinctly like white florals. The base of the Juicy Couture Perfume is rather light but it is at least of the Eau de Parfum concentration and it is also painted with tones that are considered to be cooler than it is warm. So, even despite the sweetness and the vanilla and caramel crème brulee, the perfume doesn’t have the overall feel of a gourmand scent.
Something like Barbie May Wear
The founder of Juicy Couture, Pamela Skaist-Levy aside Gela Nash-Taylor, took the time to describe the fragrance as something like what Barbie would wear. When you think about it, that is just what Juicy Couture Perfume is: perky, bright, young and sweet. If Juicy Couture Perfume was a celebrity fragrance, it would be Sarah Jessica Parker but it would be Britney Spears before she had her latest rounds of trouble.
Anyone that likes Miss Dior Cherie will like Juicy Couture Perfume.
